Summer Program

Our Summer Program Philosophy:

We strive to provide your child(ren) a fun and educational experience with a focus on correct riding basics, a balanced seat, and horsemanship both on and off the horse.  We create a safe, positive environment that fosters confidence and comfort.  Our goal is for your child to learn something new and HAVE FUN!

Where, What and When

Our Summer Program uses the Carriage house in Bellevue State Park as its headquarters, a short walk from the horse barn.

We offer nine weeks of our program. You can attend one or multiple weeks.  Each camp runs from 9 - 3pm each day.

  1. June 12th - June 16th

  2. June 19th - June 23rd

  3. June 26th - June 30th

  4. July 3rd - July 7th (off July 4th)

  5. July 10th - July 14th

  6. July 17th - July 21st

  7. July 24th -July 28th

  8. July 31st - Aug 4th

  9. Aug 7th - Aug 11th

What to expect

·         Two mounted sessions a day (structured lessons, bareback riding, mounted games, and trail rides)

·         Unmounted lessons, including horsemanship and horse care (grooming, saddling, bathing, braiding, colors/breeds, etc.)

· Horse-themed crafts

·         Opportunity each Friday for family and friends to observe a riding session, meet the horses, and see the stables

Horses and Ponies

The horses and ponies we use for our summer program are also used year-round in our lesson program. They are all safe, gentle, and understanding.

Our program reaches maximum capacity every year, so we recommend registering early to guarantee your spot!

Cancellation Policy:
Refunds (minus office fees) will be given before June 1st if slot is filled.
No refund after June 1st.
